[Adass-announce] ADASS 2008: Reminder (3)

A few important items regarding the upcoming ADASS meeting:

1. US citizens who are attending: please remember to arrange for an
   absentee ballot - this election is too important to waste your vote.
   The last time there were US presidential elections during an ADASS
   conference was in 1992 and it placed a Democrat in the White House,
   after 12 years of Republican rule.
   (we are just stating facts here, not advocating any particular
   political choice)

2. The deadline for the submission of BoF proposals is 21 September;
   see:

3. The oral program is almost ready; you may expect its publication
   this week.

4. If you have questions regarding local and logistical matters, email
   the LOC at adassloc at astro.umontreal.ca
   If you have questions regarding the contents of the program, email
   the chair of the POC at arots at head.cfa.harvard.edu
