[Adass-announce] Deadline for BoF submission approaching

Dear colleagues, 

please be reminded that the deadline for BoF submission for ADASS XXIII is approaching (August 15 - 23:59 HST). Let me cite the related conference web page (http://adass2013.cfht.hawaii.edu/bofproposal.php):


Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions at ADASS are an opportunity for informal, free-flowing discussions among groups of attendees with a common interest. BoFs are scheduled based on suggestions from the attendees.

There will be two sets of two parallel BoF sessions: Monday and Wednesday, starting at 5:45 p.m. They typically last 60 to 90 minutes.

If you would like to propose an idea for a BoF session, please submit an abstract which includes the following information:

Name(s) and institution(s) of the organizer(s)
Title of the session
Brief description of the objective, content, and program of the session
Send BoF proposal abstracts to the ADASS LOC by email (loc_adass_2013 at cfht.hawaii.edu) by midnight, 15 August 2013.
