-------

The 32nd annual conference on Astronomical Data Analysis Software and
Systems will be hosted virtually by CADC, Victoria and University of
Toronto on 31 October - 4 November, 2022.

This annual conference, held in a different location each year, is a
forum for astronomers, computer scientists, software engineers, faculty
members and students working in areas related to algorithms, software
and systems for the acquisition, reduction, analysis, and dissemination
of astronomical data.

The ADASS XXXII program will include invited talks, contributed papers,
tutorials, software demonstrations, and special interest ("Birds of a
Feather" or BoF) meetings. These activities aim to stimulate further
development of software and systems to meet the data science challenges
of astronomy.

Abstract submission is open. The deadline for submission of oral
contributions is August 1, 2022. To submit an abstract, please go to:

    https://pretalx.com/adass2022/cfp

This year's meeting will be fully virtual. The LOC has selected Whova as
the platform for the meeting. Registration will be handled through the
platform in a few weeks. We will keep you informed.

Sessions will be distributed to maximize participation across the globe
while ensuring a reasonable schedule for the LOC.

Visit the meeting's website for up-to-date information:

The key themes for ADASS XXXII are:

- Data Processing Frameworks and Algorithms
- Long-term Support of (Legacy) Software
- Reduction of the environmental footprint of astronomy
- Big data, big nightmare?
- Astro clouds and science platforms
- UI and UX
- Robust Systems
- Software Architecture and System Design
- How to avoid software monoculture while not reinventing the wheel?
- New techniques and technologies for astronomical software

The list of invited speakers will be announced soon.

Best regards,

Kathleen Labrie on behalf of the ADASS POC,
Stephen Gwyn on behalf of the ADASS XXXII LOC.
