Early Announcement

ADASS XXXIV
Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems Conference Series

10-14 November, 2024
Valletta, Malta

We invite you to the 34th annual conference on Astronomical Data Analysis
Software and Systems (https://www.um.edu.mt/events/adass2024/). The
conference will be held November 10-14, 2024 at the University of Malta
Valletta Campus, hosted by the Institute of Space Sciences and Astronomy.

This annual conference, hosted by a different location each year, is a
forum for astronomers, computer scientists, software engineers, faculty
members and students working in areas related to algorithms, software and
systems for the acquisition, reduction, analysis, and dissemination of
astronomical data.

The ADASS XXXIV program will include invited talks, contributed papers,
tutorials, software demonstrations, and special interest ("Birds of a
Feather" or BoF) meetings. These activities aim to stimulate further
development of software and systems to meet the data science challenges of
astronomy.

You can start exploring the meeting's website at
https://www.um.edu.mt/events/adass2024/.

Registration and abstract submissions are not open at this time.

As a recent message to this list stated, the Program Organizing Committee
is asking the community to propose and vote on the themes you would like to
be featured at this year's ADASS. We are using "tricider" to collect your
theme suggestions. We would like to remind you that you can submit ideas
and vote on the ones already submitted at:

     https://www.tricider.com/brainstorming/2URcLLLvi4t

You do not need to register to submit suggestions or to vote. The poll will
close at 23:00 HST on Friday, 8 March, 2024.

The International Virtual Observatory Alliance (IVOA) meeting will be held
immediately after ADASS, 14-17 November, at the University of Malta
Valletta Campus. Further details will be provided by the IVOA on their web
pages (ivoa.net).

Best regards,

Kathleen Labrie on behalf of the ADASS POC,
Alessio Magro on behalf of the ADASS XXXIV LOC.
