Hi everyone,

The ADASS Prize for an Outstanding Contribution to Astronomical
Software is awarded annually at the conference.
Eligible candidates are the developers of astronomical software
ranging from those that have stood the test of time to those that
are new and cutting edge. Depending on the software and the
nomination, the award is given to either a group or an
individual. Nominations can be for a single program, a package or
a library. For your reference, here is the link for the past winners
https://adass.org/softwareprize.html.

Please submit your nominations for this year's ADASS Software Prize at
https://www.tricider.com/admin/2RbDHdEp4d3/EFh7uDjfxt5

Under "Pros and cons", briefly describe why this software should
receive the prize. You can add arguments pro or con to a particular
software. However you cannot vote for it; voting has been
disabled for this tricider. You can make multiple
nominations. Self-nominations are accepted. Note that you do not
have to register with tricider in order to add a nomination.

Nominations close Friday, April 26th, at midnight GMT. At that point, the
POC will review the nominations and descriptions and determine
the winner. The winning software author, or a representative of
the winning team, will be invited to give a talk at ADASS this
year at Malta, have their ADASS conference fee waived,
and receive a plaque.

Sincerely,
Kathleen Labrie,
Xiuqin Wu,
On behalf of the ADASS Program Organizing Committee
