Dear Colleagues,

ADASS Tutorials are educational sessions conducted as a short class on a subject
of general interest. The main goal of a Tutorial is to teach skills to
participants, in a hands-on, actively engaging session.

This year tutorials will take place in the afternoon of Sunday, November 11.

If you would like to propose a Tutorial, please submit an email to the ADASS LOC
(adass2018 at astro.umd.edu) expressing your intent, including the following brief
information:

- Working title for the tutorial
- Description of the main topic
- Primary learning objectives
- Course tutorial structure

The deadline to submit Letters of Intent for a Tutorial is July 1, 2018.

More information on tutorial requirements and the selection process can be found
in the "2018 ADASS Tutorial Selection Process, Criteria and Requirements"
document, which can be downloaded from
http://adass2018.astro.umd.edu/2018_ADASS_Tutorial_Selection_Process.pdf

We look forward to receiving your tutorial proposals.

Best regards,

Nuria Lorente on behalf of the ADASS POC,
Peter Teuben on behalf of the ADASS XXVIII LOC.
