[Adass-announce] ADASS Tutorial Submission Extension - May 23rd

Dear Colleagues,


We have extended the deadline for submission of letters of intent for
tutorial presentations at ADASS XXX in Granada.  The new deadline is May
23rd.


It is still too early to tell if the ADASS meeting will be in-person in
Granada, held as a virtual meeting, or slightly postponed but the Program
and Local Organizing Committees continue to work on building a great
program for this year's meeting.


If you are interested in giving a tutorial at this year’s ADASS we invite
you to submit a letter of intent describing your tutorial. Proposals
selected in this first round will then be asked to submit a full tutorial
plan by July 16th for final selection.  (Date subject to be adjusted like
everything else these days.)


Instructions on what to include in your letter of intent, a description of
the selection process, and the submission link can be found on the
Tutorials Instructions page at https://adass2020.es/call-for-proposals/


We understand that nobody can commit to any travel or participation to an
international conference at this point in time.  We nevertheless hope that
you are willing to throw your great idea in the selection pool even if it
means that you might have to rescind your submission if the situation
prevents you from participating.
