[Adass-announce] ADASS: deadlines approaching, one extended

Dear prospective ADASS attendee,

Have you been working on your presentation for ADASS?  The deadline 
for Oral Abstracts, Tutorials, and Focused Demos is a little more 
than a week away: Friday, 17 August.  

Note that poster and demo booth requests will be accepted up until the 
start of the meeting as space permits; however, to ensure you are 
included in the meeting program, please submit your abstract by 12 
October.  Also by way of clarification, if have an idea for a tutorial 
to present on Sunday, submit your idea through the same abstract 
submission form (a tutorial check box has been added).  

And finally, there's good news if you were planning to apply for 
financial aid.  The deadline for applications has been extended by a 
week, to 17 August.  See the website
